We are excited to announce that West Central Women's Resource Centre has been selected to receive 80 hours of Microsoft 365 consulting. We'd like to thank all the nominees, voters, and judges for helping select a well deserving local not for profit organization to assist.

The Epilepsy and Seizure Association of Manitoba provides important services to people with epilepsy/seizure disorder and their families throughout the province. The Association is made up of volunteers giving their best for others.
The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is a self-help organization dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy for those living with mental health illnesses.
West Central Women’s Resource Centre empowers women, and their community, to move from where they are to where they want to be, by providing responsive programming, facilitating knowledge sharing and connection, and contributing to culture shift and policy transformation.
These judges will help us choose the winner from the short list nominees.
Caroline is the owner of Twist Design & Communication in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has over 26 years of experience in communication, design and marketing, and works with clients in Canada and the United States.
Cindy is an avid outdoor enthusiast with her favorite adventure partners (partner and dog) in tow. She is an IT professional, currently an Account Delivery Executive with Microsoft, with over 20+ years in the industry. When not at work, she has a passion to supporting non-profits in their mission. From working with animals to cancer survivorship to food/water initiatives, she is always on the search to empower others to make the impact to the causes they represent.
The winner will receive 80 complimentary hours of Microsoft 365 consulting and training including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Microsoft Teams.
The past year has been rough for people and organizations big and small. This year, we want to support Manitoba non-profit organizations by sharing our Microsoft 365 consulting services.
How it WorksLaunch a SharePoint Online Intranet, complete with key content migrated.
Design, Implement, and launch a custom Vacation Request Power App solution.
Implement Microsoft Teams/SharePoint Online for use in Project Delivery.
Development of a set of Power BI reports to surface key metrics from business data.
Training and support for end users in the daily and advanced uses of Microsoft 365 products.
Generate organizational competence in the Power Platform through the development of a Citizen Developer program.
We want our community to take part. Once all we've compiled all the nominations, we'll open it up to a public vote to create a shortlist of candidates. From there, our appointed judges will help us select the most deserving nominee.
Nomination starts on May 10, 2021. Nominate your own organization or one that you know.
Public voting will be open from July 27 until August 13. The shortlist will be announced on August 20.
We will then have a panel of judges that will help select the winner.
The chosen organization will be announced on September 15!
We want your cause to be successful by leveraging the full tools of Microsoft 365, and we understand that sometimes, technology is just not in the budget.
We have clients around the world, but we believe strongly in supporting local in as many ways as possible, so we're only offering this to organizations that have an impact here at home.
We love Manitoba and the opportunities that it has provided to us, and it is our turn to return that love and appreciation for an amazing province.
The winner will receive 80 complimentary hours of Microsoft 365 consulting to be used however they want.
Any Not for Profit that is based in Manitoba, Canada and is registered under the Canadian Not for Profit Corporations act.
You will receive email confirmation that the application was received. We will review your application, and if there is necessary information missing, we will contact you.
A not for profit must be registered under the Canadian Not for Profit Corporations act, and must provide their charity number upon application. You must also have been in operation for the last 12 months.
There is no cost associated. We will provide 80 hours of consulting towards any Microsoft 365 product.
