SharePoint’s file request feature let’s you choose a folder, and create and share a link to allow recipients (internal and external) to upload files. People you request files from can only upload files; they can’t see the folder's content, edit, delete, or download files, or anyone who uploaded files.

In this tutorial, Andrew Graham, our Evangelist, goes undercover as Double O Seven, James Bond, to show you how to create a link and share it.

NOTE:
➡️ You can allow people to upload any file type (such as PDF, jpg)
➡️ The admin can block people from uploading certain file types to prevent malicious attacks (such as .exe files)
➡️ It is possible that even if your admin has disabled SharePoint's external sharing, external people can still upload files using an active “Request Files” link.

Enjoy!
